And I made an error regarding the German forum, I can't actually remember if I actually tried to register there, but the aussi forum definitely required some none-free email.

I still have one, though never used it.

It's not a fair comparison I think. The GF3-Ti500 is actively cooled. The GF6200 agp is cooled passive.
The better comparison should be GF3-Ti200passive against GF6200 passiv.

The passive Versions of the 6200 have only a 64Bit memory-interface, but they are very good at
later shader-intensive games. I think for the earlier stuff, the GF3 should be the better option.

The GF6200 tested here is 128Bit actively cooled!

If you want to feel free, my inventory is much changed.

The only AGP cards I can test with are

Rage 128 Pro AIW
Riva TNT2 Pro
Geforce 2 MX400
Geforce 4 Ti 4200
Geforce 6800GT

And I think we all know how those comapre 🤣

I am currently testing my GF6200 against my GF3-ti200.

What I can say is that both have a bad picture quality on low-res (dos) but the GF3 seems to be worse.
The GF3 has less problems in compatibility in older games like "severance" and a bit better performance,
but the GF3 can't run the ATI 8500-9800 Demos...

I have to do further testing...

I'm pretty sure the Ti 500 does not compete wit h this one:

The GeForce 6 is also avaible as super trash version called 6200A-LE with only 2 Shaders..

likely, the 6200 i tested against was a 64bit model, so it stands to reason as close as the scores where that a 128bit model would be faster, it does have more vertex shaders, higher core clock speed, z culling, and on and on.

Here's my 6600...looks almost identical to me 😀 No wonder the 6200 is unlockable.

This fan is terrible, ARGH!! Who designed it?!

Be carefull, there are many different 6200 cards available. They offer a wide range of performance.

6200 NV43, 6200 NV43 64bit, NV44A 128bit, NV44A 64bit, NV44a 128bit DDR2, NV44A 64bit DDR2

The 6200TD beats the 8500 easily.

No Chance. it also beats the Ti4800.

Its was pretty good bang for 129€ at is time.

OH those first gen AGP 6200's where great values, most could unlock in Riva Tuner to 8pp and you'd get a free upgrade to a 6600 non GT
