Would something like this be a reliable workaround for the Asus board that doesn't recognize any keyboards?

Perhaps if you do not need DOS support? Are there DOS drivers? This is just a USB card with an onboard converter.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking it was. Going to try the board again tomorrow and see what I can figure out.
