Hello,

I just joined this forum after a friend of mine (Hellistor) pointed me this way and I thought I'd show off one of my machines.
This is currently the most complete out of all my projects. High resolution pictures can be found here.

I originally picked up this machine a few months ago.
When picking it up I was astonished! The previous owner still had all of the manuals and driver discs for the machine as well as cables and other bits!
I upgraded the machine with a Pentium III 500MHz from a PIII 350MHz and added a Voodoo 2 SLI setup.

The current specs are:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-6BXS
RAM: 256MB of PC100 SDRAM
Graphics card: Matrox MGA-G200 AGP
3D accellerators: Two STB Blackmagic 3D Voodoo 2 12MB REV. C in SLI
Sound card: Creative Soundblaster AWE64 Value
Ethernet card: Realtek PCI NIC
HDD: IBM DDRS-34560W 4.24GB UltraWide SCSI HDD
CD Drive: Toshiba XM-6201TA (80 Pin SCSI)
CD Drive: Plextor PXW124TS (80 Pin SCSI)
Floppy Drive: Generic NEC 1,44MB Floppy Drive

Peripherals:

Monitor: Fujitsu Siemens ScenicView P996-1
Speakers: Phillips PC Sound System Stereo Speakers
Keyboard: Cherry RS-6000 M
Mouse: HP MPBJKO Optical PS/2 Mouse

Here are some interiour shots of the machine:

Here we have some games:

Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit is a great racing game and runs buttery smooth on the Voodoos.

Pandemonium 2 is interesting for me because it ONLY supports 3dfx cards. No software renderer is included:

Unreal Gold is running great. Smooth gameplay and the castle flyby gets 51FPS.

Half Life:

This machine was a breeze to assemble. Since it came with all of the drivers I didn't have to go searching and looking for incompatibilities.
If you think this post looks familiar, Hellistor helped me throughout the build and took the pictures with his camera.

Thank you for reading and I hope you like it!

Welcome aboard! 😁

Seems you have the specs figured out pretty well, nicely done 😀
How loud are those SCSI drives compared to contemporary IDE drives?

Though for some reason the PSU looks like it has the power to break all your stuff and make it disappear with a puff of magic smoke.

Whats missing in your collections?

Thank you very much!
The SCSI drives are somewhat loud but not moreso than any IDE drives I have used.

Regarding the PSU, it is a 235W unit.
I cleaned the whole system before reassembling it but I forgot to clean the PSU.
After looking inside it looks to be in good shape aside from a little dust which I have now removed.

The two V2 cards are looking like the 8Mb versions, or not?

SCSI and Voodoo2 SLI? I would say this is a winner

I would change the power supply though , it doesn't seem to be of good quality , and if it goes, it can end up taking the system with it.

Thank you!
I have no other powersupply at the momemt, but I will change it as soon as possible.

Do you ask that because there are no chips on the back side of the cards? That's normal with the Revision C boards.
It seems the manufacturers cut some cost by switching to to larger chips and not having to solder as many.
The System Specs tab lists 8MB total texture memory and 4MB framebuffer memory, so they are the 12MB versions.
