Hi all,

An internet friend sent me a pretty cool beige ATX tower. 3D Cool Tornado... 1000? I believe. ATX case, beige, etc.

The hardware... A Dell Dimension 4100 power supply + motherboard (socket 370) with 256MB RAM and a 1GHz Pentium III processor. Added a 92mm Arctic fan that runs much quiter than the 3D Cool 80mm fans the case came with.

Creative DVD-ROM drive + Sony DVD/RW drive, 3.5" floppy and a 20GB hard drive too. Runs Windows 98SE of course.
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX440 64MB AGP video card
Creative Sound Blaster Live! CT4670 sound card (I use the Yamaha XG100 softsynth anyways)
3COM PCI ethernet card
56K PCI modem

The cool thing about this case is the motherboard is on a removable sliding tray. It's a pretty stable build so far and it runs older games and N64 emulation quite well. I only wish it had an ISA slot on the motherboard but it's not a big deal. Was debating upgrading it to 512MB RAM but I also know it'd be kinda pointless with 98SE installed.

Love it! Is that the 4100 out of the case you used for Beigelake? There is a guy on eBay that sells adaptors to use standard PSU's with those 4100 motherboards, iff you ever want to put something more power hungry in it GPU wise. Although for a 200watt PSU the stock unit is built like a tank.

Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
Retro PC: Soyo P4S Dragon, 3gb ddr 266, 120gb Maxtor, Geforce Fx 5950 Ultra, SB Live! 5.1

Yeah it is that same 4100! Felt bad not putting a good 370 board to use so I figured this is better.

I have a 300W PSU and actually have one of those adapters as well but I see no reason to use that PSU when the 200W Dell one works fine.
