*/ So it's been 7 years since my last post about this build... wow time flies. Instead of a necro on my old post I'll do a new one. Some of these parts (Roland MPU-IPC-T) I've been dragging across the world with me, some I have aquired along the way. As always, a work in progress. Of note in an otherwise standard Socket 8 build is the homebrew AdLib card, SCSI2SDv6, and Roland MA-7 Speakers. Hopefully you get a kick out of it. /*

My first Soldering Adventure. It works! Had to put a different DC plug adapter on the board so I could use the same power supply as the Roland devices.

Initial testing and getting the SCSISD to work. Took some tinkering but for the most part it has been stable.

RE-PC here in Seattle. This place was probably amazing back in the day but the staff has realized how much stuff goes for on eBay and acts accordingly (my initial impression). But if you need a 50 pin SCSI cable quick, it works. 3 cards I bought here were DOA.

I wouldn't have been able to do this without really talented people providing kits (the Chill DB) or schematics (AdLib) with good instructions. It was so cool receiving the printed board from the circuit manufacturer. I have never soldered anything in my life but sometimes you have to just take a leap of faith that you can do it.
