Did some more tests and I'm quite impressed. Everything worked from the outset. Upgraded RAM to 32 MB -> no issues (though single bank/dual bank must be correctly set via a jumper, 32/36-bit in BIOS - no auto-detection), sound card works fine, too, incl. the S2 over MPU-401. Apart from the rather complex BIOS, there's nothing different to an ordinary PC. May get one or two more of these. 😀

Just for the record: IDE to mSATA adapters do not work in the unit. Auto-detect fails and entering CHS manually doesn't help either. It sees the disk, but won't ever see any partitions, nor can any changes to the drive be made. Didn't even help creating the partitions with a different PC.

I would have to paint the white faceplate on floppy drive. Other than that, it looks great. 😀

Check out DOSBox Distro:

a lightweight Linux distro (tinycore) which boots off a usb flash drive and goes straight to DOSBox.

I have bought one, too. But the universal Win3.11 svga driver doesn't work. Did you find any Win3.11 VGA drivers for it to display 256 colors?
Does Windows 95 have drivers for the graphics chip out of the box?

The graphics chipset was detected by Win95 but the installed driver did not work with more than 16 colors. I then selected a different but compatible driver that Win95 had built-in. It's just called "Chips & Technologies Super VGA". With that, I can use 256 colors at up to 1024x768.

As for Win 3.1x, no idea. I have a second unit that has DOS 6.22 & Win 3.11 installed, but I did not bother installing a display driver (yet).
