Hi, I just finished building my first full mod. It looks a bit crude due to my lack of dremel and experience, but I think it still packs a wow factor.

Specs:
Motherboard from HP thin client
SoC: Transmeta Crusoe 5800A073310 (733MHz VLIW CPU emulating x86 with MMX)
RAM: 512MB DDR-SDRAM SODIMM
Southbridge: VIA VT8231 (ATA100, AC'97, LAN, 4xUSB 1.1)
Integrated GPU: Ati Rage XL with 8MB dedicated SDRAM
3D accelerator: STB Blackmagic 3D Voodoo 2 12MB
Storage: Kingston elite Pro 16GB CF
PSU: 12V 3.33A

Very cool and unusual build. Ive been eyeing up thin clients with sound blaster compatibility lately, I think the WT941GXL is probably the best available but I haven’t seen them on eBay for < $50.

I've been hooked a long time ago when I built my first 486 😉 It was back in 2014. I only recently registered here, I am more active on the Polish 3dfx forum
