Thought I might share my recent Slot 1 build with you.

Case:JNC RJA-52
PSU: ANS LC-B350ATX
Mobo: Jetway J-7BXAN R2.1
GPU:3dfx Voodoo3 3000 16MB AGP2x
HDD: 1x WD 64AA (will prolly replace it as I think it's dying), Seagate ST310211A as main drive
PCI:RTL8139C NIC
Audio: Yamaha YMF719 OPL3-SAx
ODD: HL-DT-ST GSA-H10N DVD-RW (white bezel)
RAM:256MB PC133
OS: Windows 2000 Pro SP4.
CPU:Pentium 3 450MHz SL35D Slot1

Nice build! I haven't messed around with Slot 1 in ages so I've got an MSI MS-6119 with a Pentium 3 of some kind and apparently 128mb of DDR2 ram (lol) on the way, for £16. I'm not sure if I will put my Voodoo 3 2000 pci or TnT2 Pro in there... But I am thinking of putting a slow p2 in there and using it for DOS gaming.

MS-6119 sounds like one of the solid BX boards MSI made. Just make sure you recap it, as the Chhsi caps are abysmal in quality.

For DOS, depends. If all you want to play is 2D DOS games (and Doom), probably a ATI Rage IIC AGP will do.

I like those Yamaha XG YMF-7x4 sound cards. A good inexpensive way to get MIDI playback and good sound too.
