Thanks everyone for making this computer a success. I add a second 250gb hard-drive to store all my favorite Halloween stuff. ( music and movies ) I am also going to add an Authentic Diamond monster Aureal A3D audio card and Voodoo-2 to complete this build.

I swapped out the sound card for a “diamond monster” and swap out the CPU fan for a quieter one.
But it is still to loud.

Can anyone recommend a quite P3 Socket 370 CPU cooler ?

It’s that time again.
Time to bring out the Halloween computer.

Any suggestions on games, music, screen savers, components, etc.

Just look at these Giant Pumpkin from Half moon bay. ( very close to Silicon Valley area )
Halloween is BIG in California.

@Intel486dx33,

Blood literally celebrates the horror genre without taking itself too seriously - much like Halloween itself 😀

I like the idea of having themed builds, but the Halloween tradition is all but non-existent here in Russia. Maybe I'll join on a different occasion.

It's not too big a deal here either.

There's a glitch in the matrix.

Time to bring out the Halloween build again.

Any Idea’s for Add-ons or upgrades ?

Californians love Celebrating the Fall Harvest season with Giant pumpkins, Pumpkin pie and Roasted pumpkin seeds in the oven.

You REALLY need to tell me you have that in a build thread .. 😀

Please use the "quote" option if asking questions to what I write - it will really up the chances of me noticing 😀

I don't have a separate thread, but I posted several pictures of the build process somewhere on the forum. Most likely in the "what retro activity did you get up to today" thread.

edit, here's a few pix in this thread: Re: The ultimate ITX motherboard for Win98? (and an introduction)

Get a fan adapter cable that takes molex connector to 3 pin fan connector, swap the 12V to 5V pins on molex connector and you get a 5V supply for fan, this quiets the fan noise.

Cheers,

Great Northern aka Canada.

WTF

Just my way to let wiretap know, that I really was eager to see more of that build. I am a great fan of a lot of power in a small enclosure, and I loved my Voodoo2 back in the day, so an ITX build with SLI V2, I just reaaaaaally wanted to see more 😀

Fair enough but to be honest the WTF was the V2SLI in that tiny case, I quoted your reply accidently instead 🤣. I would also like to see more though.
