IIRC, the M52/A52 was the last one where all models were IBM branded (maximum supported CPU family is Presler (Pentium D) iirc), whereas the M57/A57 were all Lenovo branded and went up to Cure2Duo(and later Quad). Intermittent models were a mixed bag. The M57, IIRC is also one of the last models with a floppy bay, but not fitted with a floppy anymore from factory, whereas the M52s were still fitted with one.

Oh yeah and these ones finally broke the 3GB usable memory barrier.

The A60 was also IBM branded on the bottom of the front panel. I could just replace the front bezel with an IBM branded one if really desired...
