I've acquired this build through a trade and figured I'd upgrade it a lil' bit.

First, some photos:

The front of the PC. It originally had some HTPC-styled front panel that was in bad shape. I saved the buttons from that FP, the bay covers, as well as the USB board, then trashed the rest of the front panel. I might do some solder work on the front panel to acommodate the one on this front panel, which comes from another case I have in use (a P3 650MHz + Voodoo 3 3000 build)

The side panel. It's one of those JNC Computer /ANS Computer Co. LTD cases (two of Deer/L&C's biggest European distributors of these type of cases. I've had a lot of these and they're pretty good cases, depending on the models tho.) that you could get with prebuilts here in Romania mostly. Usually these either had a globe embossed on them, or the Internet Explorer icon. (my P3 650 build has a white IE variant of the sidepanel). Definitely better than most cheapos I've dealt with. If you don't count their PSUs, that is.

The insides. Cable management wasn't really my priority, though I might do it when I'll have the time. At least I replaced the failing NB fan with some AGE fan out of a scrapped HDD rack.

Now, specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 2500+
GPU: Gecube Radeon 9550 128MB (originally planned for a 3D Prophet 9700 Pro 128MB but need a HSF for that)

Thanks. The POST code reader has a bad segment (only one tho) so codes may appear a bit funny, but at least it's easy to figure out the codes.

I do have a EP-8RDA3I that I could harvest the POST code reader from and solder to the EP-8RDA6I+ Pro, but it's going to take some good hours to do that.

Otherwise, it's been fun doing this build, and I've had even more fun playing good ol' Chicken Invaders 2, CI3 , Neighbours from Hell and such on it. The only thing I'd love to get for it is a classic Enermax PSU. Recapped of course, and without the killer glue on it.
