My case didn't have one. So I made one, out of things.
Original Thread Help me understand how to wire custom Turbo Switch

I use a Digital caliper to mark a 5.25 blank, and cut out a square with a jigsaw. Then used a big file to straiten out the hole.

This is useful. I recently acquired a machine with a hole where the speed display used to be.

On one of my XTs I improvised a turbo switch by mounting a bathroom pull cord switch (!) on an I/O bracket with a round hole, originally for a mouse port. No LCD display though. It's just a regular IBM XT case so no place to put it.

Is this too much voodoo?
