I love that case design. I would still be using the very similar Antec SX1280 for modern builds if its thermals were better.

Love the design of those Chieftec tower cases. I use a similar one for my Athlon64 rig, only it's dark gray in color.

Back in the day, when I first got that case, my friends would come over and ask why I'm using a server as my home PC. 😁

It looks nice, but having a door covering up the drive bays is a pretty terrible idea if you have to access the drives underneath frequently. It's especially annoying if you have a tray loading CD-ROM drive and the software automatically ejects it when the case door is closed.
I guess you could take the door off, but then the case wouldn't look nearly as nice.

BTW, aren't these cases made by Antec? Are Chieftec and Antec the same company?

Yes, when you change CD's every time you have to open the front door. But I got used to it to handle this. When you change CD several times you let it open of course.

From point of view there is only a problem, if you eject the CD manually and the tray collides with the door, or with software like a CD burn program.

Because i will not use this kind of software on this PC and i'll try not to open per windows the cd-rom tray, i think there is no problem...

They're all Chenming towers sold under different brand names and upon request with slight variations. Many computer companies do not build their own stuff but buy complete products or have products designed and built for them by third parties according to their specification request.
Others license designs to build them at their own plants. I'm not sure who built Chieftec's Dragon cases but the design is Chenming.

Latest try with the setting 100Mhz x 5,5 = 550 MHz @standard voltage of 2.2V has failed.

So i will still clock the K6-2 at its stock setting of 500MHz. For more i would need 2.3V or 2.4V

Cause i have the athlon thunderbird as follow-up, there is no need of overclock and overvolting...
