No Sound is 5% better overall than SB0220, but excluding DOS, QuakeGL, and Quake II Titles its a 14% improvement
No Sound vs SB0200 overall is a 23% improvement, while excluding DOS, QuakeGL, and Quake II titles its a 27% improvement

Thankyou for sharing the results. Some games - especially directx games which using directsound heavily - can have far bigger impact on speed. Some older cmedia can easily divide the performance by 2.
I dont know what the sb0200 is based internally on, but i dont think its a creative design, probably a less terrifying cmedia clone or a low end crystal chip iteration.

drivers can def play a role, i know that i've often squeezed a few extra fps out of some timedemos by swapping various different driver versions or card revisions (e.g. release for a specific OEM) .

i guess its not too bad of an experience if you're a masochist
