Hello Guys,

I was lucky enough a little while ago to be given a brand new Compaq DeskPro from 1999:

All new never been turned on till now. Y2k sticker on the box.

Yes, it's just the system speaker. Compaq liked them big I guess.

Actually, the system routes the sound card output through that speaker unless you plug something into the 3.5mm jack in the back. Pretty cool, and not that common on PCs.

[Install Win95 like you were born in 1985!] on systems like this or this.

and really useful on "boring office" pc's
What I liked about this case is you can turn the drive bay around for either desktop or tower setup
