Blocks on hoirizon in Rb3d

Postby Len Johnston » 2004-2-01 @ 01:25

Pentium II, Intel
Windows 98
Voodoo3
Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128
575 SDRam

Rb3d with upgrades is running fine on max graphic settings, 1024x768 and glide setting in preferences.

Trying to improve graphic appearance prior to add ons so tried recommended Openglide v009rc5 and v007b4.

These Openglides set as suggested by glidos:
[Options]
EnableMMX=0
CreateWindow=0
InitFullScreen=1
EnableMipMaps=0
IgnorePaletteChange=1
EnableFog=1
EnablePrecisionFix=1
EnableWrap565=0
EnableMultiTextureEXT=0
EnablePaletteEXT=1
EnablePackedPixelsEXT=0
EnableVertexArrayEXT=0
EnableSecondaryColorEXT=0
EnableFogCoordEXT=1
TextureMemorySize=4
WrapperPriority=3
FrameBufferMemorySize=16

On running sim appearance of cockpit etc is improved however large Terrain blocks appear on horizon where formerly was attractive fog.

Using Voodoo 3 and have tried all settings in graphics preferences...any ideas?

Why are you using a GLiDE wrapper for a video card that supports GLiDE?
