big problem with mt32 and DOSBox v0.65 CVS ykhwong

hello mt32 friends 😀

as i have written in the toppic, i have a problem with dosbox and munt 0.1.3 (mt32)

first i did install the regular "DOSBox0.65-win32". after that i copied over the
"DOSBox CVS (06/06/2006)" release. at last i did install
"mt32emu_win32drv-0.1.3". so all right till here. of course i also choosen the mt32 sound in the systems-settings of sound in XP.

i wanted to enjoy ultima underworld 1, so i did set up mt32-sound in setup 😉

it takes forever till the ultima underworld screens comes up. and if that would not be enaugh, i sounds terrible. like with wrong sounds. when i walk, i here a PIANO for the steps.

i also installed another version of dosbox. 0.63 with mt32 support. same things there........

so please, give me a hint, what im doing wrong.

You only need one of those...EITHER install mt32emu_win32drv-0.1.3 OR use MT32 patched dosbox. Not both at the same time. Be sure to select mt32 in game sound configuration as well.

After ykhwong updated the munt MT32 build in his CVS release the
MT32 emulation has been broken, for the moment im using the MT32
windows driver to emulate MT32 until this bug gets fixed, gulikoza
Dosbox CVS with munt MT32 support works just fine.
