Hello I am new here and I just installed munt on my computer. I am wanting to make some original music using munt instead of the defaunt Microsoft midi out. Is this possible and if so what is the best software sequencer to use. I am making a game using Adventure Game Studio and I want to give my game that old Lucasarts feel. And the mt-32 was Lucasarts. You can find my blog for the game I am working on at http://cmioe.blogspot.com/

Yes. MUNT project includes a DirectMusic driver for Windows so you can use it with almost any MIDI sequencer. IMHO, the best one is that you prefer the most.

Nevertheless, I want you to know that there are several things you should consider:
- a minor problem with Windows Vista / 7 due to lack of user interface to change the default MIDI port
- files containing dumped original ROMs (either MT-32 or CM-32L) are required for MUNT to work
- the emulation accuracy of the last officially released MUNT is far from acceptable. Although, the development is in progress in order to achieve the goal of exact MT-32 emulation.
