Greetings, I've been told that with DosBox+MT32 I can emulate an NE2000 network card using conventional DOS drivers? ... Like the following:

lsl.com
<ne2000 driver>.com
ipxodi.com (or tcpip driver at this point)

So, I tried some generic ne2000 drivers. None seem to work. LSL.COM loads correctly (unlike in non mt32 dosbox), but every ne2000 driver I've found can't see the LAN card.

Any tips on how to do this? Or perhaps my information is wrong and this just isn't doable in ANY version of DosBox?

Uh, the only thing different between MT-32-enabled builds of DOSBox and regular DOSBox is the MT-32 code. MT-32 is a MIDI synethesiser and it has absolutely nothing to do with network.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Sorry for the confusion. My only clue that this version even exists is this thread:

ipx/netbios under winXP?

(third down)

Anyone have any idea what this person is talking about? Does NE2000 emulation exist in any build?

Thanks!

Yes, I coded it into my build but I never publically/intentionally released it. However, if you grab the source from my site you'll see the NE2000 code used for the emulation in my build.
