Does this mean it's okay to distribute the ROMs, but that everyone is playing it safe by not doing so?
Someone opened a feature request for the inclusion of the MT-32 ROMs with Munt. Have a look at the comments for my take on the situation:

It is not to hard to find the MT-32 ROMs needed for Munt. All the information someone would need to find or build the ROMs is already within the posts of this forum. Granted when I had to get my ROMs a long time ago the necessary information was easier to piece together because the project was still early in its development. Beyond that, nothing has changed.
