Hello from Freiburg, Germany!

I have installed Breadbox Ensemble 4.1 aka GEOS 4 on my PC and under
DOSBox-0.70 and all woks very well, but:

- I wanted into the Internet over my modem Dr. Neuhaus Cybermod 28.8K Faxmodem V.34, but no connection was possible!

- I installed the free Virtual PC 2007 and Windows 3.11. When I start GEOS from within Win 3.11 I am able to dial and can go to Web via GEOS Internet Explorer WebMagick 3.0.

Under DosBox my same GEOS sytem did not found COM1. So I searched and in the WWW I found the solution for the first step: iserting the following into dosbox.conf:

serial1=directserial realport:com1

So my modem reacts, but as GEOS wanted to dial it only brought up some
flashing modem LEDs but no dial tone!

What must I change?
Has dosbox a serial fault?

Any help possible?

Thanks very much!

Greetings from Manfred

P.S. This machine (is another PC as the PC with DOSBox) works with GlobalPC-GEOS and the GEOS-Explorer has Java support, a 56k modem, a 4.2 GB harddisk and after some own installation also Windows 3.11 works very well:

Does it bring up an error message?
