When installing Wing Commander 2 you can choose some video options. But I don't know what the options are. CGA might be amongst those.

I have opl3 chip which is working fine in command line (w98, vxd driver), my question is how to disable dosbox sound emulation and let it pass to the system. Aka from dosbox I only need to put old games into windowed mode. Any way?
Disabling the sound emulation in config file doesn't helped. Nor a little. Anyway here's not direct option to not emulate opl3...
You'd need kernel drivers for just about every platform and there's hardly any people that have a real opl3
It's a bit non-pracitcall that it cannot work in transparent mode, but ok.
I'm usually having no problems with that chip 😊 , but this game - mm3 - like only full dos or dosbox. Cannot put it into windowed moder or buy a newer version, ubisoft says I'm out of allowed region.
I have a patch which does OPL passthrough for Win9x and NT - I'll put a build on my homepage.

..dosbox load dropped from 100% to about 5. This is just great.
But it's having side effect, with remapping mouse is out.. utterly. I don't need it for this game but eventually can be put back?
