No matter what game I launch, the game just goes blank, there's sound though.

This problem doesn't occur to previous versions.

Try other output devices in the DOSBox conf file like ddraw or OpenGL.

Try updating you Video Drivers, also what OS are you using?

Also try updating the SDL, see the FAQ on this.
