I'm trying to play some older games (KQ4, Q4G3) that run in 320x240/320x200 and recently upgraded my motherboard which comes with a built-in nVidia 6150SE card. The trouble is the games flicker with the lower refresh rate, it can be difficult to watch. Is there a way of changing the rate, cause I tried in the Nvidia Control Panel and it only works if you plan on using a low screen size for Windows (which I clearly do not want). Is there anyway of changing the refresh rate in either Dosbox or else where?

Just open Registry Editor (start->run->regedit), follow this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak

Create new DWORD key named "NvCplDisableRefreshRatePage" and assign it value 0.
Close the regedit and open NVIDIA Control Panel. Voila, refresh overrides 😜

In case anyone else had this trouble, it works!
