I use DOSBox 0.72 in Vista 64bit, everything is fine. But I got a problem when I am using capture (ctrl-alt-f5).

I use some midi player in DOSBox and output MIDI signal to my external MIDI device (Roland MT-32), works very well. Then I connected my Roland MT-32 and my Creative X-Fi soundcard, I can hear the MT-32 sound from X-Fi.

I am sure that I choose the correct recording device and let it be default in Vista, because I use Windows Recorder or Adobe Audition both they can record the MT-32 sound from X-Fi.

Using ctrl-alt-f5 in DOSBox, only screen can be captured, but no sound.

Anyone can help me to fix the problem? thanks.

You'll need to record the MT-32's audio output separately and mux it back into the video later. This is because DOSBox's recording function only records audio directly from within DOSBox.

I have no idea if it is relevant at all, but check line 782 of the README:

"CTRL-ALT-F8 Start/Stop the recording of raw MIDI commands."
