I have dosbox .72 and I was emulating Battle Chess 4000 it runs great but an annoying thing happens when I play it a message keeps appearing one under another saying "os size changed" and it continues down to the bottom of the screen blocking that section of my view of the game. I have read the readme and googled it but cannot find a solution to getting that to stop will someone tell me what that is and how to stop it.

Veryify that you are using a DOSBox 0.72 DOSBox.conf
Close all running programs.
Change output= in Dosbox.conf

I change the output and I know it is the actual copy of dosbox.72 from here http://www.dosbox.com/download.php?main=1

Change output="current value" to output=ddraw inside dosbox.conf.

Current value (output=in Dosbox.conf) has no meaning at all.

Seems more like the game has errors and is outputting text itself whenever it encounters it. Not something output has any effect on

This game expects a particular behavior from the EMS memory manager that DOSBox does not appear to support, causing the error message to appear sporadically, eventually scrolling the screen (which really messes it up). I made a small TSR program that works around the issue; just run it in DOSBox before running BC4000. Source code is included. The workaround might apply to any other program that expects the same behavior, if there are any. I will report the specifics of the issue to the DOSBox devs.

Edit: workaround program removed by dev's request.

DOSBOX is not yet updated to work properly with the game.
