So, I'm trying to run DOSBox on my Mac, and only 0.65 seems to work on it [and it has loads of problems, at least that particular build, a and + are mapped to the same key, I can't get into the keymapper, no VER command, so Windows 2.0 refuses to run, even though it should work].

So my question is, is 0.70 supposed to run on 10.3, or do I need something else [any libraries, etc.], and if it's just the settings in these builds, will it compile on 10.3?

I don't know. I don't think there is 10.4 specific code in that.

Try it ? (oh and go for 0.73 while you are at it.) the only new mac os x code in 0.73 is the coremidi stuff

Ok. Building SDL now, will see how everything goes...

[edit]
Ok, did that, now the DOSBox configure script is telling me I don't have SDL installed, even though I just did a Unix style compile of SDL [1.2.13...]...

[edit 2]
I think I can get it to work... maybe, trying again...
Decided to grab the SDL in Fink...

'Tis compiling... slowly. Horribly slowly.
Compiling anything on a 500MHz G3 with 192MB of RAM is an exercise in masochism, it's been compiling for what I think might have been an hour, maybe longer... when I check to see if anything's going on with top, it says stuffs happening [processor % is at 78 or so...], so it's not locked up, but...

[edit 4... 23:24EDT...]
Eengh, compile dies horribly on the adlib sources.

[edit 5... 0:02EDT...]
Trying 0.70 now.

Woo! Compiled, and works [just tried Windows 2.0, runs now]. Just need to package it up like a normal OSX app.

[edit 7... 1:07EDT...]
Just tried Windows 3.1, and all I get is a black screen with a cursor at the top... I'll try building 0.72 later, I need to sleep.
