I am having some problems in fullsceen mode that I haven't been able to find examples of in forums.

Games run just fine, but whenever the game needs to change screens, it always fades out and then back in very slowly unless I switch it back to window, and then back to fullscreen after the scene change.

Also, when it changes screens in fullscreen mode, there is often either black, or a combination of colors that shouldn't be there covering all available space, and it only goes away as I move my cursor across the screen. When I do this, it "wipes" the wrong color/s away wherever the cursor touches.

Again, this is fixed when I switch to window mode and back.

It's annoying to have to switch to window mode and back all the time. I've tried adding frameskip but that doesn't help. Any advice would be much appreciated.
