I have some problem with importing the videos I've captured with DosBox into the Windows Movie Maker. It comes up something 'Don't work to import the file because the codec-file who is needed to: play the file isn't installed on the computer. Restart Windows Movie Maker if you allready have and installed the codec-file. Then try to import the file again.'

First when I look at the file/movie i nrecorded, it says its a avi-file that should work 100% to Movie Maker, so I really don understand the problem.

My computer is a Windows XP and the version I downloaded was the latest, 0.73.

What should I download or do so the file will start working in the WMM?

Beside of my question I'm just REALLY greatfull for this program. It have the best sound of all the pc-recorders i have, great video quality and it dont take 1 gb per minut like FRAP.com

Thank You, hope you can help me.

It's available in the Start Menu entry for Dosbox (VIdeo -> Install movie codec).

and just install it again, it won't be a problem if it has already been installed and saves you looking in your system whether it has been previously installed.

Be sure to install the codec with admin rights.

Do the videos play in Windows Media Player correctly?
