Was only mount c c:\program\stepmania\program\stepmania that i can remember that worked, or if I shorted it with a C in begining. The other commands I tried didn't work...

But I mean... Must i mount a game to make it work? Isnt there a way to just start the game, or record from the game seperate from DosBox?

you have to mount a folder for a game for dosbox to work on it

but what kind of path is c:\program\stepmania\program\stepmania 😕

create a folder called stepmania in c:
then go
mount c c:\stepmania
and (if you put your files in there)
move then to c:
alias your \stepmania folder
and begin to operate from within it

if no cdrom is involved, skip the mount cdrom step.

Why do you think that Windows game would work with DOSBox?

The stepmania map is in program in C, and then in stepmania the main stepmania icon you press on for play lie in another program map in stepmania....

I havnt been using DosBox for more then a few days so I just hoping that games I want to record work, and if I dont find an answer for the question I seek in the README, I ask here.

I wished you also knew Stepmania as much as you know about DosBox. Cause then you would know that Stepmania isnt a windows game, but works for windows as much for MAC and Linux.

Or are you just suggesting I download the MAC version to my windows to make DosBox work?
