¡Hi!
On DOSBox I were installing SB16 Audio Software (TextAssist) for Windows 3.1 Operating System and this error appeared:

¿How do I emulate DOSBox to a 90MHz CPU?
I tried to configure "dosbox-0.73.conf" and I set it as Pentium_slow, but the problem persists. 🙁

Thanks 😀

(Sorry for my bad english, I'm Spanish)

Set cycles to max. What CPU do you have?

Intel C2D 2.8 GHz @ 3.0 GHz | ASUS P5KPL | ASUS GTS250 1 GB | 4GB DDR2-800 | 500 GB SATA | Win 7 Pro/Ubuntu 9.10

I have set 22050 cycles and 32MB of memory.

Set max cycles with "turbo" combo button or in the dosbox-0.73.conf?
I have 2.5GHz on the CPU (real) and I have set up on the emulator "Pentium_slow" (I use to set to "auto" too).

WaveSynth is a piece of crap that's super picky on what it installs on, couldn't get this working on anything but a Pentium... and not the MMX kind, either. Cyrix, K5s and K6s are also exempt from this.

WaveSynth isn't an essential component, by the way. It's just a cheesy software synthesizer for MIDI that chomps CPU for something that sounds worse than a sound canvas. Once you get this working (you could probably install the wavesynth files forced out and add the driver to your system.ini manually) you'll be disappointed.
