Hello Everyone,

I know it's been possible for a while to successfully install and run Windows 3.1 in DosBox, has anyone had any luck with Windows 95 or 98? I found a link to a topic here that was supposed to be a tutorial on running Windows 98 but it said the topic no longer exists.

So, how exactly is it done? Can games like Quest for Glory 5 and Mask of Eternity be run in Win98 under dosbox?

It's not supported but with some fiddling you may get it working using disk images.
But use bochs or some virtualizer for win9x.

Use Virtual PC instead. If you install Windows 98 on it you get nifty things such as folder sharing, optimized graphics driver and cursor integration. Well, if you install Virtual Machine Additions.

There is an Windows 98 emulator on DOSBOX, but it's barely runnable.

Huge gamer going into classic PC gaming. Gaming since 1999!
