I have been trying to get Gender Wars to work on a friends computer using DOSBox v0.74. I can get everything installed and the game loaded, except the video looks like it is scrambled.

Unfortunately I am unsure what video card he has. It is an i7 2.9 GHz with 8GB of memory. We have the original CD and other games have worked like NAM and DOOM2. Any suggestions would be helpful.

1) Try to change machine type in dosbox.conf
machine=vesa_nolfb as example.
2) The game is using uvconfig version 5.2. So, try versions 5.3a or later.

Voodoo2 12 MB SLI, Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).

Thanks for the suggestions. I was able to find uvconfig within the game directory and opened it in notepad. I was able to decipher that it was indeed version 5.2, however I am unsure how to change versions.
