I normally have no need for this command, but the wcnews recommended using it for privateer 2 to prevent some fatal errors. So I mounted the three cd images as normal and added the -ioctl at the end, which causes this message to appear every time: "The image must be on a host or local drive." Why am I getting this message? If I simply remove the -ioctl , the images mount normally. There's nothing special about where the images are located. The only thing I'm changing from the default DOSBox conf is the mounts, which is..

mount c "c:\priv2"
imgmount d "c:\priv2\p2d1.iso" "c:\priv2\p2d2.iso" "c:\priv2\p2d3.iso" -t cdrom -ioctl

Like I said, if I remove the -ioctl and leave everything else as is, the images mount fine..

If you were to the documentation of dosbox, then you would discover that -ioctl is parameter for MOUNT not IMGMOUNT.
