Being a book-keeper, I instinctively use the num-pad when entering numbers, but it crashes my games in DOSBox. Can I request num-pad support be added to DOSBox?

it should already work. although the detection of the startup state might be broken in 0.74
just press numlock a few times till the numbers work in the prompt

You're right,Qbix. It starts up after poking it several times. I never would have thought of that. Do you think this would ever be fixed?

it is fixed in the current code. So the next release should have it fixed

Good enough news. I really like DOSBox's config file setup, so I was hoping to stay with DOSBox as it evolves. It works like DOS, except that it's MUCH nicer to set up and tune than the original DOS. Especially setting up DOS memory, sound & video. As long as the keyboard fix is in the pipeline, I can make do until the next release. I can't find anything else to complain about. Many thanks!
