I have DOSBox 0.74 and Win 3.1 and want to copy them to a flash drive for use at a day program. I already copied the files, but the copy needs a different configuration from the original, namely the WINDOWS directory needs to change drives in the emulation config. I know to change the program items in Program Manager, but what about the Win16 boot directory and system directories?

Why don't you just copy the stuff and then mount the flash drive same as you mounted the folder on your hdd?
Example:
Before you had Windows 3.1x in c:/dosgames/windows and you mounted
Mount c c:/dosgames

Now you have windows 3.1x on e:/windows. Then mount
Mount c e:/

Now Windows 3.1x on your flash drive won't know a difference.
If you do it differently you will need to look through many ini files to correct ir

Sorry! On my WinVista system and DOSBox setup, I have Win16 at D:\WINDOWS, but I wanted to bring it to C:\WINDOWS, because that's the normal directory. If it's so much effort, I guess I'll just keep it at D:
\WINDOWS. 🙁
