Hello, I would like to ask about LPTNes projekt that uses special cable to communicate between NES and PC using LPT port. It allows you to control NES games with PC keyboard or any(if I understood correctly) gamepad connected to PC.

The case is it works under DOS and Windows like 98, not XP or any future version of Windows.

I wonder, if Dosbox will allow me to use LPTNes on modern windows systems or GNU/Linux based systems.

Please take a look and let me know: http://nesdev.parodius.com/lptnes_v130.zip

Hmm, I'm not very good at electronics and a friend will construct it for me for a price so I would like to know if there's any chance that it'll work or not. Guess Dosbox programmers will have a clue.

What is mb6?

qbix is a lead dosbox programmer.

lock stock Dosboc does not have lpt/printer support. Hal-9000's Megabuild 6 (mb6) is a patched dosbox with support for printing.
