I have DOSBox 0.74 installed on a really nice Odroid U3 system-on-a-chip computer, which has a 1.7 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor with 2 gigs RAM. The Odroid is running Xubuntu 13.10, kernel 3.8.13.14 (armv7l). I have Timidity set up as the MIDI synthesizer. However, although DOSBox audio is working fine, I can't get MIDI playback to work. Here's my dosbox-0.74.conf MIDI settings:

mpu401=intelligent
mididevice=alsa
midiconfig=129:0

I have pmidi and other native linux MIDI players that playback MIDI files just fine using the 129:0 port. Setting mididevice to "default" does not help; I've also tried (for midiconfig) all the other Timidity ports available, with no luck. And although I know I'm using ALSA, I also tried other mididevice settings with no luck.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?
