Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone can help but when I try to run DOSBox I get the following ....

CONFIG:Loading settings from config file dosbox.conf
MIDI:Opened device:win32
Fatal signal:Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute, Deployed)

... and it quits. The last version of DOSBox I was using was 0.58 which worked fine, DOSBox is installed in the default directory, and I'm pretty sure the config file is more or less the default one with: mount c "C:\Program Files\DOS" on the end.

My spec ...

Motherboard: SiS (can't remember exactly what I fitted.)
Processor: AMD Duron 1200MHz
RAM: 512MB SDRAM
Video card: nVidia GeForce 2 MX Tornado with 64MB vRAM
Video mode: Tested in Window mode and full screen (640x480)
Sound card: Creative Sound Blaster PCI
OS: Windows XP Professional v5.1.2600
DOSBox Version: 0.61
VDMSound Version: 2.1.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I am understanding everything correctly, it may be an issue between the current version of Dos Box and your Nvidia card. be patient. 0.62 should have this bug.

nVidia has released the ultimate drivers for GForce serries... Try updating yours and then runs dosbox again
