Since DosBox now has an install program for quite a while, which for example automatically create directories, extract the game, create start menu entries, why not also let it create another subdirectory called "HardDisc" (or something similar).
The default "dosbox.conf" could then contain the following additional lines at the end:
mount c HardDisc
c:
[mount d e: -t cdrom] (additional, see below)
This way, on one hand, it would bemore convenient to be able to start quicker after install, and on the other hand and more importantly, you would avoid a bunch of NB-questions.
Just write in the Readme, that all they have to do is copy the games they want to play (like "Duke Nukem") into the "HardDisc" directory.
The last line in my example above could be more problematic, since most people have different letters for their CD/DVD drive, but maybe the install program could automatically detect the first CD drive letter or (more luxury) ask the user for it, and enter the letter into "dosbox.conf".
