Hello,

I would like to create a hdd image with dosbox, but I can not format it, I need help!

This is how I proceed:

1) create hdd image --> ok
$ imgmake windows95.img -t hd -size 1024 -nofs

2) fdisk hdd image --> ok
my dosbox.conf:
[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.
keyb fr
imgmount 0 Dos6.22.img -t floppy -fs none
imgmount 2 windows95.img -size 512,63,64,520 -t hdd -fs none

launch Dosbox:
XsfDFh6aTRGvUIX8yw7Iost6vU3jFjr5t9sHDfG7Kr4=w640-h428
All 2 img mounted, no error message

Now I type:
boot -l a
to boot on the dos 6.22 img, then type:
fdisk
everything ok, Dosbox reboot, I do again a
boot -l a
then
format c:
and I obtain that error message:
invalid drive specification

I don't know why it doesn't work, I did something wrong?

Please use the guide at Sample usage of a harddisc image in DOSBOX and lock stock Dosbox. you are using a non standard dosbox version which might or might not have errors.
