Can you tell us why you want to change the format?

I see only 2 options:

1) Boot a real MS-DOS inside DOSBox. Then you will have all the joy of a CONFIG.SYS file and the COUNTRY option. It is possible, but I don't know how.

2) Create a modified version of DOSBox for your need. You need to download the source code and compile it yourself. Possible, but a lot of work.

i'm having the same problem i think (my english is limited).
want to set something like "country=049,850,country.sys" in dosbox
for proper date display in norton commander within dosbox.
in other words i want to see 20:22 instead of 8:22p and similar.
how can i do that, as there is still no config.sys in z: drive.
there is also no country.sys, so how can i solve this problem?
