I've been compiling an archive of many gigs of old games, downloaded or salvaged off floppies, over the past 8 years - but I've had so many problems getting them to run. One particular game I could never get to work, even on the oldest PC I could put together - a 386 - was Xonix.

I actually tried DosBox ages ago, but it was early days and I didn't have a frontend for it, so I just gave up. But I recently downloaded 0.63 and D-Fend and WOW - now its just SO easy.

After years and years of struggling and struggling to get various games to work on various PC's - I can now get almost any game in my collection to run on a brand new PC. Yahoo!!!

BTW, I downloaded a beta port of 0.63 on PocketPC. That too is an amazing program! I'm playing all sorts of old DOS games on my Dell Axim wherever I happen to be.
