DOSBox window size?

Hi all, I'm new here. Hopefully, you might be able to help me.

It's not a critical issue, but I like to run my DOSBox in windowed mode. A couple of the games I play get cranky and display graphics incorrectly if run fullscreen and then I Alt-Tab out to check my email or something. Windowed mode works fine.

However, I find the window quite small. My monitor is currently at 1280x1024 and the DOSBox window is thus perhaps a quarter the size of the monitor. I've tried going into DOSBox.conf and changing the setting to:

windowresolution=1024x768

But that doesn't seem to have done anything at all to alter the window size. I figured it would up the size of the thing to 1024x768 total, thus taking up more of my screen and being proportionally larger.

Anyone have any suggestions for how I can bump up the window size without going fullscreen? Thanks!

Oh, and I'm running 0.65, by the way.

Open dosbox.conf (located inside DOSBox folder) and edit it with a text editor.

Change the output= line to something else...

E.g. output=overlay

It's all in the readme file. REALLY.
