Hi,

I have some difficulties trying to have my keyboard working properly in Dosbox under Linux or XP. I would like to have my keyboard properly handled under Linux, if possible with a french layout (azerty).

Under Linux :
In xorg my keyboard layout is french.

If i start dosbox directly, my layout is azerty in dosbox, but there are important keys that don't work, including < > and 0 to 9.

If i run keyb.exe from the freedos project, my layout changes to qwerty, and i still can't type numbers or <> .

Under XP :
My keybord layout under XP is french too.

Inside dosbox my layout is qwerty by default.

Using keyb.exe properly maps to azerty, but i still miss the <> keys .

To summarize :
I couldn't manage to use < and > under dosbox. A funny thing is that the default layout is different under Linux and XP. Is this caused by a problem in the SDL layer?

I can help by testing or giving more details if needed. Oh, and if i missed something in the docs - please tell me 😉

yes it's caused mainly by sdl and the OS.
SDL doesn't give platform independed codes afterall...
We are working on it.
if you want to test some stuff out you should send a pm to wd.
