I am running the most recent ykhwong 0.63 DOSBox version, but although the a: appears to be mounted correctly and I can list files that are on the drive using "type", I seem to be unable to copy files from the a: to the c: using "copy". I always get a "File not found" error - any ideas ?

I have to say that this version of the program has been a lifesaver for me as I have an old DOS application that needed serial port and printer port access to function and our last DOS machine fried last month. We are now running it on a modern machine under XP.

Is this problem also happening with official 0.63?

Could you write down the exact commands you used?

Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)

The commands that I was trying were :

copy a: filename.dat // Executed from c:\cal
copy a:filename.dat c:\cal
copy a:filename.dat c:\cal\filename.dat
copy a:*.* c:\cal

None of the above worked.

However I have just tried ykhwond's suggestion of using the move command and that works fine.

Hmmm, sometimes when I copy files I:

1. Go to the directory where I want the files.
CD \games
2. Copy the files to the directory
Copy A:\*.*

This would copy the files from A:\ to \games as long as your in \games.

I think it's just caused by some modification by ykhwong.
as he modifies quite a few shellcommands.
(and judging from his reaction "bug fixed next build")
