I couldn't post on the Guide topic of Windows 3.1, so I'll post here. I am using ykhwong's November 6 build in Windows XP.

Question:
Why the warning about disabling EMS in DOSBox before running Windows 3.1? It works fine for me. Is there something that it will do (or not)?

I implemented the GEMMIS stuff only for windows, so of course it works
if you're using a build that uses past-0.65 dosbox sources. There's no
difference, just you don't have to (but can) disable ems.

This is not necessary because guides should be for release builds.
