Hi there,

I have been trying and trying to get DOSbox to run games on my Mac OS X. I have a G4 laptop. I have already successfully found the old DOS games run thru DOSbox on a windows XP computer. Every time I try to mount the C drive on my apple, it comes up with the message:

"directory xxx doesn't exist."

I have installed Radnor, but still no luck. I have changed the directory of these games (desktop, Macintosh HD) and still no luck. What am I doing wrong? Is there any way to play these games (from mid 90s) on my G4?

It is possible to run dosbox on osx. But I expect you having some problems with performance on the G4.
I run dosbox on the last G4 laptop before they switched to Intel, and it is usually ok for the old adventuregames I play (sierra) but it isn't ultrasmooth even then.

But it works. And it's FUN! most importantly 😀

for some reason it would not load using "mount c:"

Why did you think mount c:\ would have worked?
