Hi!
I'm using DOSBox CVS (Build: 1.05.2007).
I'm trying to capture movie of the game screen with high resolution (around 640x400) but I only get movies with 320x200 resolution. I changed my options in many different ways but nothing seems to work. The wierd thing is that for some games, it would capture in 640x400, but for different games, it would only capture in 320x200. I think there might be a way to force a fixed resolution but don't know how to do it. Anyone has answer for this?

the game /movie is probably only 320x200
DOSBox only captures at the original resolution.

If you want something larger then use a movie editing program to convert/scale it

I know I can do that, but the quality is not good enough. Is there any trick to force a higher resolution? and as said, for some games it captured 640x400. I don't know why.

Get a different editing program?
This is not an issue with dosbox. If the game runs in resolution 320x200
(and you can't configure it different) then there's nothing dosbox can
improve over any video editing program.
