I was having trouble getting my Logitech wingman joystick to work with Sierra/Dynamix A-10 and Red Baron games. I read up (as much as I could understand anyway) on DosBox's config setup for joysticks. I THINK my joystick is bad, which would go a long way toqwards explaining why it doesn't work well in those games, but I notice that the newest DosBox apparently automatically recognized which joystick I had hooked to my system, as it named it it the config. (Logitech wingman 4 axis)

Does this mean that (in theory) I can use pretty much ANY of the newest USB flightsticks/flight yokes that have multi buttons and throttle levers, and DosBox will automatically recognize them? And if so, (in theory) will even the old games like A-10 recognize them and allow all the new features of the joystick (like a throttle lever) to work?
